Greenery and florals

Harleigh, on September 26, 2019 at 9:16 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 9
I’m so torn on this. I ordered a bunch of faux greenery and I hate it. It looks so fake!! Yes, I know it IS fake but I’ve seen it look real. I can’t justify spending the money on the real stuff just to toss it. Any of you ladies that purchased faux greenery or flowers where did you buy it that it looks more real? Or should I bite the bullet and get the fake stuff?

You can get bulk real greenery from sams club or cost co for probably as much as the fake stuff. Check them out online. https://www.samsclub.com/b/bulk-fillers-bulk-greenery/1242?xid=cat2135-bulk_vnav_2_2

You can also do some reseach on how to make fake greenery look real like maybe spray oil or do the fake water droplets with hot glue or maybe something else?

If you can, buy the real stuff! I bought flowers and garland for my wedding from both Sam’s and Costco! Best decision ever! Garland & roses on my arch from Costco. Bouquets & center pieces were all flowers from Costco/Sam’s

I bought real touch faux greenery on amazon!! it honestly looks so real and you could put a few drops of eucalyptus oil on it to make it smell real also!

I think Afloral has more realistic looking options!

Omg just looking at that picture gives me such anxiety. I have so many questions! How long did it take you, how much help did you have, how much Xanax was needed to not have a mental break down, and how/where did you keep it before the ceremony!?

I want to do my own flowers, I know I could do it. But my mother and family (who all worked in my grandfathers flowers shop before he passed) said don’t do it, it will be too stressful!

LOL! I ordered them Wednesday and trimmed and clean them with my hubby and left them in water until Friday. I did all the 23 centerpieces, arch, misc. floral decor by myself on Friday for my Saturday wedding. I stored them in my house then in my hotel room then when we got the venue at 12pm my husband and his groomsmen brought them to the venue. Honestly I loved doing them, I did a lot of diy for my wedding so maybe I’m just a tab bit crazy haha
