Green Bridesmaid dresses

I think it sounds like it will look nice. I get where your BM are coming from, I would hate it too but I don't wear gold. However, in my experience as a Bridesmaid... I just shut up and wear whatever the Bride wants. To only way I would say anything is if she chose colors that would look poorly on my skin tone. I wore a Malibu Blue Bridesmaid dress... I hated every bit of it. But I didn't complain because the color looks great on my skin tone. If she chose beige, I may have spoken up because it makes me look really washed out. All that being said, if you are taking into consideration how these colors will look on them and paying for any of it... Then I would tell them that you hear their feelings but this is your vision and ask them to just get on board.... for you.

Hi Kristen! What shade of green are you going to have them wear? Have you thought of having them wear a dark hunter green dress with gold accessories? I think that would be a really successful look! Also, this is your big day, and you should choose whichever color you like best!

Gold could be really nice so I wouldn't worry there, but it's your wedding and I think you should pick the color that you want. I didn't even give my girls the option of color, but I did let them choose whatever style dress they wanted in that specific color.

That way they still get to express their individuality with different style dresses but I also got the color scheme I was dreaming of.

So I am slightly partial, but I think that color scheme looks really nice. I did something similar for my wedding last St. Patrick's Day. It's hard to see in the picture, but I gave each of my BMs a gold horseshoe necklace and they all wore gold shoes. I thought it looked very pretty. Go with what makes you happy.

Yes, a dark green just like this! Hair up with gold drop earrings...MAYBE a nice gold necklace.....not sure about that though.

Love this. I wasn't sure what to do with the groom's man, them in green I felt like it would be much. I feel like my ladies would be jealous that they are wearing gold.

I think that color is really lovely for bridesmaids! Did you ever think of maybe having them wear gold belts with their dresses? That could be another option!

I love emerald green but it can be unflattering on some skin tones. A hunter/forest green, as a PP suggested, might work better—and for some reason is easier to find on bridesmaid dress swatches.

I think green dresses will be amazing with gold accessories. My wedding colors are white and gold and I’ve chosen burgundy dresses also with gold accessories I think it’s eaiser to find more affordable and nicer dresses in green than in gold. They are still wearing gold just not as much.
