Great solution for seating guests who didn’t rsvp

Jameelah, on June 14, 2019 at 4:52 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 2 19
I just saw this on Instagram and thought it was funny, but it’ll eliminate confusion on where to seat guests whom you didn’t know were coming! Lol

Isn’t it funny!? This should be a standard seating card at all weddings. Imagine how much stress it’ll take away.

My sister's FI's friends didn't RSVP, did not say yes or no. For months after being asked about being gm, they could not answer if they were bringing dates, and other friends saying I'll let you know. She finally made up a seating chart, with 1 table outside the double doors to the function room. And all the names of people who did not RSVP on it. I guess a couple groomsmen saw it, because the day after the guys came over for a game and poker time, texts started arriving. Why are grown adults so childish?

This is funny and all, but hell naw! If you didn’t RSVP and show up anyway, you’re being asked to leave. Lmao. 😂 I ain’t got time for your bullshit Aunt Susan.

Haha this is funny! And I would totally do this... if I wasn’t planning on asking the non-RSVP’ers to leave lol.

Haaaa! that’s perfect. No one would have the burden of having to tell them to leave.

This is great 😂 my parents said at their wedding some of my dads relatives rsvp’d no. And then showed up late to the reception after not coming to the ceremony and the servers had to scramble to put together another table for them. I think it was about 6-8 people so of course there’s the added cost too that they didn’t factor for because these people literally said they weren’t coming 🙄

We are planning on doing a table with place cards that say "Welcomed Guest". I feel like once they see a seating chart they'll know they messed up by not RSVPing haha.
