Grandpa/granddaughter first dance

Kaylea, on December 26, 2015 at 4:25 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Okay, long story short, I have decided to not have my father at my wedding/walk me down the aisle, etc. He raised me and we were close until recently. I have decided to have one( and maybe my other) grandpa walk my down the aisle and I would like to do a dance with him. I'm stuck on figuring out what song to dance with him to? Any suggestions would be appreciated. We both like country if that helps any!

Those are both really nice songs. I was hoping to find something that didn't have father/daughter in it. Like I said me and my dad were close/he raised me... We've just had a falling out and there's no repairing it in the near future. So my grandpa will walk me

I'm considering "What a Wonderful World" or "In my Life" by the Beatles for my dad and me

What about "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts?

I'm dancing with my dad to "When I Fall In Love" by Nat King Cole. Not a traditional father/daughter song, but he sang it to me when I was younger. Maybe find something that reminds you of your grandpa every time you hear it!
