So my wedding is Saturday..... And my FH just told me last night that he thinks we should dance with our grandparents. So here I am desperate. I was thinking my girl by the temptations. My grandfather is walking me also so it makes sense. Hes 82 years old so it needs to be slow lol. This is my sweet grandpa! Any other suggestions?

That's so sweet! What is his favorite genre of music? Or what is something that when you hear it, it reminds you of him? I am going to make sure they play Frank Sinatra at my wedding, because my Gpop loved him, so I can ask him to dance!

ETA: My dad and I are dancing to My Girl.. it's our song! :-) Classic!

At my cousin's wedding I danced with my poppop to "Tale as Old as Time" from Beauty and the Beast. It's the only Disney movie I really like and I hope to play it at my wedding to dance with my poppop as well.

That's so sweet! I teared up a little bit and started to miss my grandpap. Of course, he'd be about 126 if he were still here, so.... But it's a lovely idea to honor your grandparents.

That sounds like a great idea, especially since he is walking you in. If my grandfather was still around he would definitely be walking me down the aisle and doing a dance with me. My Girl sounds great, or any type of classic love song that he likes. Maybe Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton or What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong? Ask his opinion!
