Got our Marriage License yesterday

With all the stuff going on in the world right now, I wanted peace of mind to go ahead and get that done! I don't see any case of us having to postpone our wedding. None of my vendors have reached out to me this week although I'll touch base with them next week. We paid our venue in full on Thursday and they seemed good.

Sent off our rings to be sized, engraved, and sautered (sp?) yesterday. That made me nervous because there was a new guy working in there and thr manager that was usually there wasn't there. If everything goes as planned, they will be back March 28th.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed until April 18th and hoping Disney will open back up as that's where we have our honeymoon scheduled in May.

Good luck, and fingers crossed that things open up. (Still a good idea to touch base, everything seems to be changing hour by hour.)

Date twin!! i got my marriage license on thurs. My fh had the day off so i got off early so we can go. I am so happy. Now its really becoming real. Didn't really think about the court house being close, but good thing we did. FIngers cross on disneyland being open. My fh and i are going in oct when the weather is more nice. I've been to disneyland in july and i wanted to die lol. But lets hope all this will calm down so we can both enjoy our day.

Yes I am trying my best not to stress out, but this dang virus has gotten me so depressed at a time when it is suppose to be the happiest time of our lives. I'm calling all of my vendors tomorrow to make sure they're still on. Paid off venue this week too and they didn't mention anything of having to shut down. I'm a teacher and our schools got cancelled for next week. Everyone is like you're gonna have to make it up, but I sure hope not! There's something about a national emergency that waives the make up days. Our Disney trip is scheduled the end of May granted they'll be back open

I work for a school too. I was thinking the same way as you, but the school district said we won't have to make it up. Since here has been no report in my home town, they're deciding if they should cancel school or not. They sent an email to all staff saying that monday they will meet again and see how it goes. But all this is scary and im just in disbelief. I'm glad i have women like you to comfort each other.
