Good Photo Booth Deal?

pansy, on July 2, 2013 at 7:37 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 13

Hey guys, I was browsing the web for some good deals on photobooths for my guests at the wedding. I live in the GTA area and found a deal on manwiththeweddingplan.com, and I was wondering if it's a good, cheap investment?

It includes:

6 hours

an Attendant

Color or Black and White photos

Unlimited Photos/Multiple Prints

On the spot choice of 2 Print styles

Custom Themed Graphics and Monograms

Props Kit

Images AND VIDEO DVD (see below)

Post to social media folder

SET UP AND DELIVERY within the GTA

Standard Backdrop

They also throw in a video dvd where guests can also leave video msgs for your enjoyment and a 2nd installed camera on the machine that will continue shooting video all night long so you can see your guests in action as they come and use the booth.

All of this for $950 when you book through Man With The Wedding Plan....

What do you guys think?

We were quoted $500 for 5 hours with unlimited prints. It includes everything that yours does, but not the video. Nor does it include the social media folder. That is so cool about the video. I would definitely pay extra for that.

I got a quote for a photobooth for $700, but that didn't include the video (which I really want!) . So I would say that is right in line for what you are getting.

I live in NJ, what state do you live in? I was at a bridal show in the Mall. At the bridal show there were a couple of photo booth vendors there. The average quote range $800 to $1,200.00

That seems pricey to me. I've seen them for 500 in north jersey. I'm guessing it depends on where you live.

I'm paying a bit over 1000 I get all that plus people can leave 30 second videos and we get the memory stick. They can also immediately upload to Facebook from the booth too. Also a memory book that people leave a copy with us and write well wishes. I think you got a good deal.

I think it depends on your area. We're getting 5 hours, video stand up booth, scrapbook option, with attendant for $650, which isn't considered cheap around here (but we're choosing the extra options).

I used Case Ace Entertainment but I wasn't pleased with them. I got married over 6 years ago so maybe they're more professional now!
