I posted on here in February that we got a steep discount on our venue because they were going to have prescribed fires sometime this summer, and couldn't guarantee that it wasn't our wedding week. So we knew going in that there was a chance the field would be burnt when we got married, and were fine with that (we're getting married indoors but the window looks out onto the field).
Then last week they told us that they would do the fires today (our wedding is Saturday). The good news is that they ended up delaying them until after the wedding. So there is something we don't need to worry about!
