That's a cute idea! it encourages people to start to get up and dance. i think it would be cute if it was a slow dance song.

Hi Jen! I've seen this mentioned before! It's the first dance after the special dances, and it's used to encourage people to get out on the dance floor. I would ask the DJ exactly how he does it, because some are a bit pushy and it can be offputting to guests who truly don't want to dance. Some just encourage participation by saying that the more people dancing, the more good luck the couple with have in their marriage.

I would say any fun, upbeat song would be good for the good luck dance. A few that come to mind:
