Gold vs. silver chair

Hi ladies! I found my perfect venue and wanted some advice! For my wedding, my girls will be wearing navy blue and the groomsmen will wear great suits. For my decorations, my tablecloths will be a classic grey color and gold decorations on it, I.e. rustic/copper gold vases, chargers, candle holders etc.

My venue only offers silver chivari chairs and not gold. I don’t want to spend money on renting gold chairs. Will those silver chairs clash with my colors?

I agree silver would look fine. I think gold would definitely compliment your palette, but I wouldn't spend the extra money just for that. Silver will look great!

Nobody will notice. Not even you when you get your photos back. 😂 I had gold as an accent color in my palette and remember my husband and I being bummed during planning about silver chairs with ivory cushions (we had gold silverware, photo frames and vases with mercury glass votives on a white table cloth for our wedding). We didn’t notice day of nor in our pictures. I’d honestly forgot about it until reading this post, so you will be just fine! 😁

Ha! 😂 Thank you. I seriously needed to hear that. I honestly do not want to spend a little extra on gold chairs. It seems so silly to be, But I was so scared that my guests would notice! Or that it would clash with my colors!

Silver will work! Just make sure to have enough gold to satisfy your want for gold chairs!

I think it'll be fine for silver chairs . People won't notice the chairs as much as ya think unless they're literally ripped up

We have a similar color palate! I agree, silver will look great! Save that money or spend it on something else!

I've seen a lot of mix & match metals in wedding decor, I think silver will be great!

Lol, We have the reverse. My daughter has silver everything and her chiavari chairs are gold!
No worries, mixing metals is in right now
