When it was public it was awesome. My co worker and I spent a good afternoon giggling at people responses.

Lol they do it! Yesterday my FMIL showed a post from a someone in her Facebook telling their family (or who ever was invited to the wedding on Facebook) that they didn't want gives but money for a down payment on a house and if anyone had an issue with that then not to come to the wedding. I clicked in the link to see how much money they've "raised" and they had 60$

They didn't actually use GoFundMe for their honeymoon but rather Honeyfund (no difference, I know).

But let this be a lesson to all these pro-Honeyfund brides/grooms. Your precious Honeyfund is essentially a GoFundMe in disguise. In place of what appears to be just donating just money, they put up pretty pics and suggestions for dinners and excursions. But you're not actually getting a voucher for any of these things, you're getting CASH. And what is worse is those who are giving you cash are getting a portion taken away through fees and services that the Honeyfund organization collects.

So your Honeyfund is nothing more than actually just straight out asking your guests to give you cash donations for your honeymoon WHICH IS TACKY.

@BeachyLauren, I'm sorry I missed that! I love a good chuckle in the afternoon to break up the work day! I swear almost nothing surprises me anymore!
