Godfather and bridal shower

What is the duty of a Godfather for the bridal shower if any? I know often times godmothers will contribute to the shower and get a gift. But what does the Godfather do? Give money? Give gift? Nothing?

    Mostly, the gifts should come from those participating at the shower. Some invitees may also give a gift even if not at the shower. There are plenty of other opportunities for godparents to contribute toward the wedding, not just the bridal shower.

    Is this cultural? All invited guests bring a gift and anyone who is not the bride can host the shower. Men attending is a very new tradition in the grand scheme. Godparents do not have a separate role than the hosts or other guests.

    I have never heard of a godfather being involved in bridal activities. Have they brought something up/offered to do something?

    No role other than what they might offer or volunteer to do because they want to.
