Hi all, I have a question for the crafty people...this is for my invitations. They are black and red, and I have very intricate cricut folding wraps to go around them. The wraps have a little pocket for your RSVP cards and anything else you're sending, like accommodation info, etc. The wraps don't have anything to hold the invitation in, so they slide right out of the bottom when you take the packet out of the envelope. I want to dab just the top corners of the invitations with adhesive so they stay put in the card wrap.
I read that rubber cement discolors paper because of the acids in it, but that's what FH brought home when I mentioned the issue. I've also read that Elmer's clear school glue will not discolor paper...so that's what I bought.
So the questions are: is the statement about rubber cement true? Will the clear school glue hold well with card stock to thick construction paper? Ultimately, which would you use?
