Your inspo picture looks really cool, but I would check in with your photographer to make sure this is something they can capture how you want. Regular glow sticks aren't very bright and I have seen people's photos turn out pretty bad

We did glow sticks because we wanted to be careful about sparks (OMG if my *dress* caught fire) and because we were having tiny people at the wedding and didn't want them to possibly lunge for a sparkler and get burned. Haven't got pro pics back yet, but from the inside the effect was really cool. Our photographer actually had us go twice because she said we went too fast the first time lol. If you trust your photographer and know they're good your pictures should be awesome

We are doing a glow stick station at the wedding and never thought to do a send off for them good idea

Were doing a sparkler picture just with the wedding party that way it can be more of a supervised thing. No burning hopfully

This looks like it would be a cool picture, but dull in real life. I don't want to wave glowing, wobbly plastic as the bride and groom walk by.

My friend did a sparkler send off this past summer and one spark came off and burned my foot. Do the glow stick idea! (I may steal it from you!)

This is what I've been thinking of doing as well! I originally wanted sparklers but keep thinking about hairspray and sparks lol just makes me nervous!

This is perfect, my FH nickname all through high school was Neon. I feel like he'd get a kick out of this, and our venue wouldn't have a fit about it lol.

What a great idea! I totally understand why sparklers might make you a little nervous. They do for me as well. However I talked to my onsite/day of coordinator just to see what my options were. She said they allow sparklers for send off pictures only, so no one would be moving or walking around with them but instead only posing for a picture. And that they prepare buckets of water to place between people to put them out their sparklers after the pictures have been taken and me and FH have left. That might be an option for you if you end up not 100% sold on the glow sticks.

I'm a grown woman who is terrified of sparklers, so I like the glow stick idea!

Glow sticks are cool! Bubbles might also be what you're looking for? Amazon has highly colorful bubble juice!
