Glitter Sola Wood Flowers

Has anyone tried glittering a wood flower?
My thoughts were to dye, use an adhesive spray and add glitter to the flower. Dry and spray with a clear coat. Has anyone attempted this??

Maybe try using mod podge to put the glitter on? It might be stronger than spray adhesive

I bought paint that had glitter in it. Then I dip-dyed the flowers like the others. I liked it this way, but it was minimal glitter because I didn't want them to overwhelm anything.
If you want MAX glitter, I'd do what you said here with the adhesive spray and loose glitter.
