For those providing your own cups for your reception and are using glassware, how many cups are you providing based on your guest list? Are you providing exact amount, or maybe 10 % more than you may need? Are guests to reuse the same cup when they head over to the bar? Super curious about this.

I’d think to provide 2 per guest so people can have water and an alcoholic beverage

Our planner did the math on this, but I know she ordered well more glasses than guests. I did not want my guests to feel obligated to use the same glass over and over again, especially since we had multiple beer and wine options.
We had 100 guests, and if my memory serves me correctly, my planner ordered 150 pint glasses, and we had an infinite amount of wine glasses (we got married at a vineyard). We assumed that more guests would drink wine than beer, which was the case.
Whatever math she did worked out perfectly because we never ran out of glasses.
