Glasses/no Glasses

Jessica, on June 9, 2019 at 2:01 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
I am completely torn on whether or not to wear my glasses or contacts on my wedding day. I'm going dress shopping this coming up Saturday, should I look at myself with and without my glasses? How did some of you all that wear glasses decide what to do?

I decided no glasses but I'm thinking to myself .. I'll need them to read my vows or to write my font really large aha I don't wear contacts either. You can always take them off for photos and certain moments. if you have contacts though, go for it.

I opted to get contacts because my glasses have the transition lenses that darken in the sun. They don't photograph well, so i had to getcontacts. Otherwise, I'd wear my glasses. I wear them all the time and have for years, so I feel like they're just a part of my look.

I have both, but I prefer my glasses. FH has both, but prefers his contacts. (Ironically, I love it when he wears his glasses, and he loves it when I take mine off.)

We're both intending to go with what makes us comfortable day of... atm, I'm feeling glasses, because I can't see nearly as well with my contacts, and I also expect to cry.

I wear glasses nearly every day. I have contacts, but my eyes get incredibly dry, even with eye drops. I don't want to wear glasses on my wedding day. I'll probably wait to put the contacts in until just before my first look. I would sooner remove my contacts and have blurry distance vision before wearing my glasses. I cried a few times in my contacts at my shower and it wasn't an issue.

I think it really depends on what you're most comfortable in. I'm all for brides with glasses, especially if you wear them on a daily basis. On your wedding day you want to look your best, but you still want to look like the best version of yourself. If that means glasses, then so be it! Your guests don't expect your eyesight to improve just because it's your wedding day lol. My frames are thick and black, so if I needed to wear my glasses, I would probably opt for special wedding day glasses, maybe something like these.

I am going to wear contacts. They are not what I prefer but I want My makeup to be vibrant and nothing to be on my face.

I wear glasses 99% of the time but will have contacts for the wedding. My eyes tend to get lost in pics with my glasses and I don’t want that for my wedding photos.
