Given Two Garters

So two people who are very important to me bought me garters- one is my aunt who bought me a garter that I picked out and she got all misty eyed because it meant a lot for her to do it. The other is my loving mother in law who was so very sweet and ordered one online for me to surprise me. I love them both, and I’m sure they’ll want to see the garter on me that day, so should I just wear one on one leg and then the other on the other leg? I love both of the garters too! One matches my dress and the other is USMC for my fiancé. So one on each leg? Or any other ideas?

I think that's a great idea to have them both, and maybe keep the one that has the USMC on it and have the other be the one that's thrown to the groomsmen. I have a pic of what I want mine to be and I plan to keep the one that say "remove before flight" and have my then husband throw the other one to the groomsmen.

I would wear them on the same leg personally. Are you doing a garter toss or keeping both? If you are doing a garter toss you wear the one that will be tossed lower so it is easier to take off and the other one is for the wedding night

I loveee them both so I wouldn’t mind wearing them on the same leg, but they are both so different in style, I’m not sure how it would look on one leg.

Another vote here for wearing both if they both have sentimental meaning to you! I've never worn a garter but I think personally I'd stack them on the same leg, I wouldn't want them rubbing against each other and possibly knocking the other down.

I think you should do what means the most to you and what is comfortable! If that means wearing them on one leg or one in each. You can use one as the toss garter as well.
