Gifts

Hello! So I’ve never been in a wedding before besides being a flower girl once. I’m getting my bridal party gifts together. I got them cute tote bags and a bunch of other stuff. I’m putting all the items in the tote bags but do you wrap the gifts like with wrapping paper? Lol thanks in advance!

Full disclosure - I've also never been in a wedding, but I've read a TON of info. I'm doing something similar; I made my girls totebag backpacks, and I'm going to fill them with various items. I'm planning to wrap the stuff inside the bag in tissue paper, and put all the bags into some kind of container so they can't see them until we're ready to pass them out at the rehearsal dinner.

I don't think you need to wrap everything but it might look nicer and more festive to add tissue paper like you would if it were a gift bag.

I figured the tissue paper. All the pictures I’ve seen is the finish product in a bag. So then I’m questioning what exactly it looks like 😂😂 thank you!!

I didn't do that. I just handed mine their totes aha. I think it being in the tote is in itself already nice and festive but I did also get bridal looking gift bags for one segment of their gift I didn't put in tote bags

I've never seen someone wrap bridesmaids gifts. I don't think it's necessary.

I’m thinking about tote bags with goodies inside, too! Not sure how big your bridesmaids’ tote bags are? If they’re larger, maybe they might work as the gift bags with tissue paper and goodies inside? I may just do that for my bridesmaids.

They are large so I was figuring I’d put all the goodies inside as well! (:

This is the website I was looking at for tote bags. Did you order yours already? Where did you find yours/where are you looking? 😊

I didn't. I put tissue paper in the tote I got them on top of the other gifts, but I didn't wrap them!

I am not wrapping anything. I'm still not sure if I'm going with bags or baskets but either way no wrapping paper necessary Smiley smile

I think this is a matter of personal preference. I love wrapping things and making gifts look as beautiful or fun as possible so I wrapped each of the gifts I gave my girls and then put those wrapped gifts in their customized totes. My wedding was a few days before Christmas so I wrapped them in Christmas paper. But this is completely up to you!

It's up to you! Since you're putting all the gifts in tote bags, leaving them unwrapped would be okay!

I think you can wrap the tote bag in cellophane and that would look nice

I think you should wrap the most expensive/interesting gifts, and put them wrapped in the tote bag, and the other stuff left unwrapped. My wife did it Smiley smile .
