Gifts...

Tiffany, on September 16, 2020 at 2:34 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 8

My fiance and I have 4 kids between us (he has two, 11 and 14 and I have two, 7 and 17). The 11 and 14 year olds are jr groomsman and jr bridesmaid. The 7 year old is the flower girl and the 17 year old is walking me down the aisle along with my dad.

I've gotten all the bridesmaids including the jr and flower girl a gift. He's gotten all groomsmen including the jr a gift. We completely forgot about the 17 year old!

Gift ideas?

Video games lol His dad is in the process of fixing his truck...maybe something for that? I just don't know if it should be personal or generalized. He collects can koozies and keychains so maybe something like that with his name engraved? I'm at a loss, that's why I'm asking.

He got them duffel bags and we got everyone converse. I got the girls a few things, robes w/their names, cups w/their names, a lip gloss and wood hangers with their names, title and date (which they LOVED btw!)

I think the best advice is to shop for your wedding attendants like you would for their birthday or Christmas. Going off of what you got for the other kids, the personalized keychain seems more appropriate. I'm no mechanic, but I would think that truck parts will be more expensive than the cups, hangers, etc. that the others are receiving.

Lol you're right...He doesn't necessarily need "parts" but just accessories I guess, or gas money. I think I might look into the keychain and can koozie idea....

My 13 year old son is walking me down the aisle and we bought him a really nice watch to wear the day of and after. I can’t wait to give it to him. I agree with other people to shop like you would for their birthday as well.

We are getting my sons (13 and almost 16) watches with the inscription “sons are the anchors of a mother’s life”. It’s a very meaningful quote to us and they’re into watches. We may also get them a personalized pocket knife since their names aren’t common and they are outdoors type guys. We planned to get them the same gifts as the groomsmen but the watches and knives seemed more fitting.
