As the bride. Who do i have to buy a gift for? I know im supposed to buy for all my bridesmaids and maid of honor. Do i buy something for my mom and my children too? Since they are in the wedding? My mom is not just my kids.

I think the customary thing is to get gifts for people to thank them for either time or money spent for your wedding. It’s a nice thing to do to acknowledge how much help you’ve received, but I don’t think it’s 100% necessary. Something like a super nice handwritten thank you card personalized to each person can be much better than a random gift.

Typically you’ll give everyone in the wedding a thank you gift.

If your mom is in the wedding, MOH, she is thanked. If she is escorting you down the aisle as family, she need not get a gift, any more than you or Groom get thank you gifts.
In these gift crazy times, lots of people get gifts every time you turn around. You should write a nice sentimental letter of thanks to your mom, if she escorts you.
