We are getting married in 3 weeks on Oct 4! We got our first wedding gift delivered today. I don’t know if we should open it now or wait till the wedding. Part of me says wait but then part of me thinks that whoever sent it may worry we didn’t get if they don’t get a thank you card within next couple weeks. What is everyone else doing with gifts?

Open and get your thank you card out ASAP. You’re not gonna be opening gifts at your wedding.

Hi date twin!! Its getting SO close I have been opening gifts as I've received them and sending thank you notes out! Like you said, I want people to know that it got to us. Also, I dont want to wait!! Haha

I think it's fine to go ahead and open them. Definitely send thank you notes as quickly as possible to show your appreciation

Make a list of who your 🎁s come from as they come in.

The names at the top of the list should be the first to receive a Thank you note.

I've been opening and sending thank yous. The only ones I haven't opened were the ones I received this week because my bridal shower is tomorrow and I know they are coming so I figured I'd bring them to the shower and open them there!

I'm sending thank yous as we receive gifts. I added another column in our excel guest list to keep track of who has given gifts prior to the wedding/thank you notes we've written.
