Gifts for Readers?

We gave our readers a corsage / bout. We didn't do gifts for ours.

I would definitely give them nice thank you cards to let them know you appreciate them. If you want to give them a gift, get them something small as a token of appreciation. I'm a big fan of useful gifts rather than something just for the sake of giving a gift. Andre's sisters were our MCs so we gave them Starbucks gift cards as a token of appreciation.

I gave a corsage to our reader. Her and her S/O were invited to the rehearsal and therefore she received a gift. I wanted to thank her for being a part of our special day and how much it meant to us since she took time out of her day to locate a reading, etc.

I did the same thing for her gift as I did my MOH - I went for more personalized/useful/thoughtful gifts that would be meaningful to the person. For my reader, since she is an English teacher, I bought her a scarf with a quote from her favorite novel. With MOH I gave her six fashion prints for her new apartment - since she's a fashionista.

We plan to give our reader a stamped bookmark from etsy, thanking her for being a part of our day.
