Gifts for Readers

Gina, on August 21, 2017 at 8:31 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 6

We are having 3 readers at our ceremony. If you had readers, did you give them a gift? If so, what kind of gift? It will be 3 girls - mid twenties

Curious as well; I'm leaning towards getting my friend some fun jewelry like the BM but more her style as a thank you

What are their tastes/interests? Gifts should always be chosen with the individual in mind. I don't understand all the threads about gifts for members of the wedding party and others with a role in the wedding. What would you get them if it was their birthday?

We didn't do formal gifts but we included them in the rehearsal dinner and gave them corsages or boutineres.

No plan to give our readers a formal gift. We included them in the corsage/bouts. There is no true "wedding" style gift option. I did an Air Force mountable bottle opener for one of my ushers and gc to a local wine shop for the other.

One of my readers is a BM and one is my FH's godmother. I'll probably gift a nice bottle of wine from the winery we're getting married at.
