Gifts for parents

For my parents I did an Etsy sign. It made more sense after we spoke at the reception. It said Grit❤Grace. For my inlaws I did custom label on a bottle of wine.
I also put a patch inside my dad's tie.

Got the mother’s a necklace and the dads limited editions of their favorite alcohols

So, my parents are delightfully weird, and also tend not to like stuff.

I found an elephant paper weight at the zoo, for my dad, because he loves elephants, and likes to work with his windows/doors open to the air. Then I dug through old family photos and slipped a pic of the two of us when I was teeny into the bag. (Got him *thisclose* to crying, which was the goal.)

My stepmom was a little harder, because she really doesn't want more *stuff*. In the end, she specifically asked for a type of water bottle that DH could get from his work. Naturally, it kept selling out... but we found it for her!

ILs, we got them a card, and then we put together a triptych for their family photo wall for Christmas that year.

I made a collage fory mom. It included photos of my mom, dad, brother, sister and I. I got my dad special socks to wear at the wedding. I also got him an engraved travel mug since he uses one every day for work.
