Gifts for in-laws?

My in-laws are amazing. I really want to get them a thank you gift, thanking them for all the things. But I just don’t know what. I don’t really like the kind of cheesy gifts that you can buy for in-laws (I’ve seen a lot on Etsy and elsewhere) - sappy sentiments just don’t fit any of us. What are some unique ideas you all have seen?

    Do they like to read? A book you and your spouse enjoy with a hand written note inside would be really sweet! I've also seen more religious couples do this with a bible.

    I'm gifting them a framed photo of one of our engagement photos which we'll replace with a photo of us and them from our wedding! I think we're also going to attach a hand written note to the back of it!

    Another sweet idea is taking old shirts and making them into a keepsake blanket!

    We ordered my parents and IL's wedding photo books after the fact! They both really loved it.

    I love the idea of a nicely framed photo with a nice note on the back - I think that may be the route we end up going.
