Gifts for Bridesmaids

I know to of course get bridesmaids some really nice gifts to be given at rehearsal dinner or morning of the wedding, but was wondering about other gifts. At the last wedding I was in, for her shower that we threw, she gave us small gifts (i think like a Yankee Candle) and then gifts while getting ready. Is it common practice to give gifts to BMs at your shower??? Thank you!

P.S., I also have bought them some really nice chunky knit blankets in colors that complement their different homes, cute and comfy PJs from target, and am on the hunt for some kind of jewelry. Is that enough??? Thanks!

It’s common to give the host of your shower something to show appreciation.

I would say more, but then again I'm a huge gift giver. I would say what you have planned, and what you've already done is enough. Maybe take your girls out for a thank you coffee after your shower to unwind.

It depends on your area, but giving gifts to the hosts of the shower is not a thing where I’m from. Usually the gifts are given at the rehearsal dinner to thank them for all they have done throughout the whole wedding process. I also think the gifts you have already would be fine. Adding the jewelry is a nice touch.

Anytime someone hosts an event for you, you should give them a hostess gift. Whether it’s a shower or an engagement party, your mother or a bridesmaid.

I gave mine a gift after my shower as a thank you for hosting mine. I also gave them something at my bachelorette and the rehearsal dinner

I gave a thank you gift to my MOH and my mom for planning my shower, but not to my other bridesmaids (they weren't involved). I gave proposal gifts & favors at my bachelorette. I'm giving them their wedding gifts at the rehearsal dinner!

Do you guys think that a mini dessert wine, small maple syrup, and maybe maple candies from my home wrapped in a pretty bow is a good gift? Or should I be spending more? I have 6 BMs and my mom.
