Gifts for a vow renewal???

DH and I are attending a vow renewal in a few weeks. The couple originally had a drive-thru Vegas wedding several years ago. The vow renewal is a big shebang at a country club with open bar and dj. As far as I know the couple does not have a registry. We also are not particularly close to the couple.

I am at a loss of what would be an appropriate gift. I will not show up empty handed since they are hosting us.

What would be an appropriate gift for such an event?

Erica beat me to it. Wine and a card at the minimum, though you may wish to include a gift card if they are providing a lot for their guests.

Yes, at least a gift card. You could also write a check with a card. In my area, this is the norm.
