Gift for the Groom on Wedding Day

I am already thinking ahead to potential gift items to give my FH on our wedding day. I know that typical gifts include a watch, custom cufflinks etc. But my dilemma is that my FH does not wear watches (only an Apple watch) and he does not dress up enough to wear cuff links. I am already thinking ahead to potential gift items to give my FH on our wedding day. I know that typical gifts include a watch, custom cufflinks etc. But my dilemma is that my FH does not wear watches (only an Apple watch) and he does not dress up enough to wear cuff links. I am seeking some advice on potential gift ideas that are unique for a laid back man. Only doing this early so that I can save and budget properly if the item is on the expensive side.

I created a book for him using www.heartfeltbooks.com

It came out so nice. You can answer their silly questions or you can fill it with a bunch of your own pages of things you want to say.

Mine came out so nice I cannot wait to give it to him.

We also are not exchanging gifts. But I plan to write him a letter, text him day of and tell him to send one of his gm to us. Then I will give the gm the letter and tell him to tell FH to read it. I have done something similar in the past and he loved it. Or just send one of my girls to give him it.

I got FH 2 stars to honor his parents. His dad passed whend he was 10 yrs old and his mom was on 2015. Planning this wedding has been hard without her. So i thought that was a great gift and something different.

I bought him a star map from thenightsky.com that shows a star map of the date/place of our wedding. I'm going to also have it framed.

As PP stated your gift doesn't have to be typical or expensive. I'm getting my FH a custom coffee mug as he drinks it EVERY MORNING and a boudoir book. Nothing expensive but I know he'll love (the book) & use (the mug).

I know it's silly but I love the "in case you get cold feet" socks. I plan on doing that, a letter, and something Star Wars or Boston Bruins related because those are two of his favorite things.

I got FH a wallet from swanky badger (on Etsy) and I engraved a message on the inside. a nice new belt. And a pocket square because I wanted something he'd use that day. And I had a boudoir shoot done, so he'll get an album with the pictures. Both the wallet and the belt are things he's been complaining that he needs, so hopefully he'll love them.

He accidentally told me he got me a brand new camera because he knows growing up I loved taking photos and had my own darkroom.

My FH is also not a wearer of watches or jewelry. The subject of what to get him for his wedding gift was a subject of perplexing magnitude for some time. FH comes from a family of dog lovers and has always wanted a corgi. We will be purchasing a house after the wedding, so I decided I'm going to put a deposit down on the next corgi litter (after extensive research on corgi breeders), tell FH what I did on the wedding day in a letter, and have him pick out a puppy after the wedding.

I'm going to get ( just so happens to be ) his favorite pair of boxers from Etsy with property of the bride and the date on the bottom for the day of. It's like $15.

I'm also doing a boudoir shoot and will have 10 photos to put in an album I had made on Etsy. It's leather bound and very sexy so although I won't have a ton of pics I think it'll do the trick !

He's not expecting it so that's why I am but otherwise no gifts

My gift is unconventional. About a year ago I got a mason jar with a lid. And since then I have been placing notes in there explaining why I love him. Needless to say it's almost full but next week I will be giving it to him before the wedding.

I plan on doing the boudoir shoot in my bridal lingerie, along with a little love note (we're not writing our vows, so the note will contain vows pretty much)
