Have you seen the digital picture frames where you can load a group of pictures into it and at intervals the picture changes. There are some really nice ones on etsy

We're going to get one of these frames for his mom and my parents. Actually we are making them bc I can't see paying that much for one frame.

As a parent of adult children, I strongly vote for pictures. Especially ones of my children with me. Nice frames or albums are a plus.

Try to think of something personal for them, my FFIL love coffee, and he is always offering me a cup when we visit them so I found him a Worlds best father in law coffee mug. FMIL I very sentimental she just has the two boys so she loves me like her daughter, I got her a personalized handkerchief.
