Getting Wrinkles Out of Wedding Tablecloths

Skylar, on January 9, 2021 at 7:35 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 10
My wedding is one week away, and I am currently trying to get the wrinkles out of the tablecloths I bought from linentablecloth.com I got the 120 inch round polyester ones! Smiley smile Any tips or advice on how to do this?

I would think a clothing iron with the steam option on, or a heavy duty garment steamer

If you have a hand steamer, that should work best. Run it slowly down the wrinkles and may take a few times. Hanging them in a steamy bathroom should help loosen the wrinkles as well. Good luck!! ❤️

Yes my mother does and is going to bring it so we can steam them the day before the wedding! I am going to try hanging them in the bathroom tonight. Thank you so much! 🥰

I hadn’t the same ones. I put them in the dryer and rolled them (instead of folding) immediately after taking them out, while they were still hot. My DOC also had a small steamer she used while setting up.

Did you use a pool noodle to roll them? Or how did you do that part? They look great! Also, how many did you put in the dryer at once and on what setting?

I did not use a pool noodle. I don’t think I used anything; although, since you mention it that would have been much easier. I rolled one and then rolled the next one around it and continued until I had them all.

I did maybe one or 2 at a time for like 15-20 on the high setting. It was time consuming. If there were 2 in there I’d turn it back on while I rolled so it would still be hot. I did the same with the runners. I rolled 10 together and it got kind of heavy.

You’re welcome. Don’t forget a steamer because we still needed it for some (I don’t know how many she had to steam but I know she used it). Good luck and congrats!
PS. We got married MLK weekend too 😊 great weekend for a wedding!

I iron mine and hang them up. Once I get to the venue I steam them around the table. That gets 99% of the wrinkles out
