Getting that veil to stay put!

Hello ladies

I had my final dress fitting yesterday. Everything looks great. Just need to adjust the cups she sewed in. BUT I tried on my veil with the dress and it will definitely not stay in place with just the comb.

Does anyone have any tips for keeping a veil in securely? I guess I could always just use a ton of bobby pins ...

I also just steamed it in the bathroom and every single wrinkle came out. Yay! Adding photo for fun.

Are you doing an updo? if it will be down can you tease that part of your hair to get it to have something to hold onto better?

I’m doing a side sweep. Not sure if it will be a braid or just pinned in the back yet. I had it in a side braid when I tried it on yesterday and it kept falling out.

Bobby pins across the comb to keep the veil in place.

I did this! It was so secure that it took a team of event coordinators, my mom, and my cousin (hairstylist) to get the bobby pins out of my hair without taking out my updo when we transitioned my look for the reception! haha!

What I plan to do is tease my hair and then hair spray the clip part of the veil to make sure it stays put! Did a test run and it works great!
