getting Ready!!!!

Crystal, on February 19, 2018 at 2:15 PM Posted in Planning 0 10
So, I'm stuck on what to do the day of the wedding I need a place for me and the bridal party to get ready I've been calling suites all around the area and there telling me that check in isn't until 4 that I would have to book two nights which is absolutely pointless and just throwing money out the window! I need advice on other places to get ready!!!!!

I mean you and your bridal party could stay there the night before together. You could also get ready at your house or see if there is an extra room at your venue that will suffice.

Also, don't be afraid to ask about early check in!

The place where we are having our ceremony has lots of space and a private room so we will get ready there. . ask about a conference room or if an oot guest is staying at said hotel ask if u could get ready there. Ask about early check in.

I suggest looking into AirBnb! I know using that makes people nervous (I used to be one of those people, until my fiancé booked a surprise trip that involved an AirBnb instead of a hotel... now I'm hooked and love it).

Anyway, I find that most AirBnb hosts are very accommodating. If you find one you like and contact the host directly to explain the reason for you wanting to book with them and ask if they can be flexible on the check-in and check-out time, I think they'd be able to work with you.

We are getting 2 nights at the hotel that is on site of our venue. The night before I am staying there with FH. Then FH is going to get ready at a friends home nearby. My girls and I will be getting ready in the room.

Does the venue have a bridal suite?

I booked 2 nights at a hotel for this reason. They couldn’t guarantee me early enough check in to do hair & makeup. At this point what’s a couple hundred extra bucks for my peace of mind, right? FH and I will stay there in the suite the night before. Then he’ll go get ready in a diff room when hair & makeup show up in the morning. Your other option is to find a salon and hair your hair and makeup done there instead of the artists coming to you.

I'm going with an air bnb for the bridal party to get ready and we will all do hair and make up there. I'm getting dressed on site at my venue. They have space to accommodate all of us to do both but I feel like it'll get chaotic so I'll be the only one getting dressed on site.
