Getting ready time

I think this depends how many people total need their hair and makeup done. My vendor told me they'll need 3 hours for 5 people.

We started makeup at 8am for a 2:30 ceremony. I forget what time we were done, but around 10 or 10:30. We had 4 artists. 1 just for me (hair and makeup) and then the 3 others worked on the 4 other girls (2 bridesmaids, my mom, and brothers girlfriend). Everyone else was done before me, except the last to go.
It sounds a bit early to me, but I think it depends on how many girls are getting services and how many artists. Also by be ready by 2 do you mean to start pictures or to walk down the isle?
