Getting ready outfits

I wouldn't get a hoodie unless it could zip up/down. I typically don't wear anything that could wipe makeup off my face or mess up my hair when pulling it off

I like the matching hoodie idea a little better than the robes since you will be traveling to the venue.. I would probably suggest a zip up hoodie too! That way you avoid potentially smearing makeup or messing up their hair 😊

As a bridesmaid, I would prefer the hoodie 10000X over. Robes are cute for photos but honestly so inconvenient in real life. Especially if you’re going to be traveling in them and the wind blows even the tiniest bit, no thank you lol. No one wants to expose themselves to a big group of girls in front of a photographer.

Like PP mentioned above, I wouldn't do hoodies unless they can be removed easily. If you wanted to go that route, I would suggest finding a sweatshirt with a wide neck cut so they can remove it without damaging their hair/makeup. Whatever you do decide, if you're going to have names etc. on it, make sure it's not their wedding party title, or the date of your wedding. That way they can wear it after the wedding is over!

For my bridal party, I'm gifting them matching satin PJ sets. They're black with white trim. Not sure if I'm going to get their initials monogramed or not!

I like the hoodies but ask too. I did not think my MOH would like a robe and she said yeah so I got her one ha ha.

I would just put some loose pants like sweats or yogas under the robe.

The hoodie is cute but would have to be a zipup style. They can wear leggings they already own or you can buy new ones. That is not a gift because it is a photo prop.

I would definitely do the hoodies over the robes, hands down.

The zip hoodies are adorable! Soo much better than a robe.
Driving around in a robe (even with a tank and leggings underneath) would make me feel so uncomfortable! Honestly I’ve only ever worn the bridesmaid robes for pictures, even getting ready they were a pain bc they are often thin/slippery/clingy and generally not comfy.

I love your zip hoodie idea! 😁 I bet the girls will wear them more than you think after the wedding.
