Getting ready for bridal party

I’m having a DW - ceremony and reception at same hotel. Wedding party and most guests will be staying there too. The hotel is giving us a small meeting room for getting ready - which is great. Asking for opinions - should everyone get fully dressed in that room to head back to their own rooms after hair and makeup to put on their dresses? Except me - of course 😊. Hair and makeup starts at 9am so we’re ready for pics by 4 - ceremony starts at 6.

I have 6 bridesmaids, my mom and FMIL. I got cute robes for all of us - longer ones for the moms.

Well, it depends. I would actually have them maybe do their hair and makeup there if there is room but I going to have a makeup artist for all of the ladies? Really? They should have their hair and makeup done before they get dressed. The last time I did a destination wedding. We got our hair and makeup done at a salon, but we all got dressed in the same room as well as we were there to be able to help the bride.

The hair stylist is also a good friend and wedding guest. Most of us go to her as our stylist so she’s doing everyone’s hair. I’m paying for everyone’s makeup.

We had a large bridal suite at our venue (two rooms & a bathroom). All the girls got ready together in their for hair & makeup then put on their dresses & jewelry & shoes together.

Thank you! That's what I'm thinking of doing too. I figured the ladies won't want to run around the hotel in their robes after getting hair and makeup.
