Getting Ready Alone

Is it weird that I want to get ready alone on my wedding day? Has anyone else done this? I really love the people in my bridal party, but I am also a really private person and the thought of getting ready with my mom, bridesmaids, and photographers around actually kind of stresses me out. I feel like I just want a quiet, peaceful morning to center myself before this major life event.

    It’s your day so what u want. I would say my only concern would be the dress. It took me 20mins to put my dress on alone. And I was sweating hard once I finished lol

    I am getting ready with one person ..my MOH so we can help each other in our dresses.
    We will have others come in once we are dressed and take a few pics. Maybe even do a first look with the others.

    There's nothing wrong with getting ready solo! It can be much more relaxing

    My husband and i spent the morning of our wedding reading on the beach. If we saw people from our wedding.. we said hello and they usually stayed for a bit and left. After lunch, i headed to the spa to get my hair and makeup done and then back to my room to put my dress on. By myself.



    It. Was. Great.

    I'm going to try to get as much alone time as possible. At the very least, just my MUHA and myself. I'm going to be a wreck as it is, and having too many people or too much noise will make me feel so much worse.

    Absolutely go for it!
    I have just my mom and MoH getting ready w me. The others will meet us at the venue for pics before ceremony/ no need for all those people!
