Getting married out of state i live in.

The basic thing is that you apply for the license in the county you will get married in. You have to be present to finalize that application so it often takes a few days to process before the wedding. Then you find an officiant licensed in that state. You will also have to have a fiancé. You'll want to call the court house in county you are getting married in or see if you can look up the rules for on their website. We got married out of state, but in order to get our license we had to travel to that state to get our license. Depending on the county you might have to go to that court house or you might be able to go to any within the state. You might also both have to go in person. This varies. You'll also only have so many days from the time you get the license to get married. The person that you speak to at the court house should be able to give you some guidance.

They have required data on education level and race. They give a cheaper license app fee for those who show they have had the 4 hour counselling.
