I need some opinions on getting married on my bday. I am going to finalize my new date at my new venue on Friday. I am looking at a Friday, June 27th wedding, which happens to be my bday. I think getting married on a Friday will save us about 6K on our venue and the minimum is only 100guests,...

I need some opinions on getting married on my bday. I am going to finalize my new date at my new venue on Friday. I am looking at a Friday, June 27th wedding, which happens to be my bday.

I think getting married on a Friday will save us about 6K on our venue and the minimum is only 100guests, Saturday minimum is 125. I do not want to worry about that many ppl. I always wanted a wedding of 100 or less. Even getting to 100 I know I will probably be about 10-15 short maybe even 20. My postponed wedding final count was 96 out of 130. Considering it was a thursday and the people I invited I rarely talk to and lived about an hour and a half from the venue, so it was no surprise.

Anywho, this time around Friday is still going to be hard, but i am sure most of our accepts will still be willing to come- well hopefully! And my WW San Diego, Orange County, and Inland Empire I may need some fillers! Lol.

Okay, got off subject- so would you get married on your bday?

Each oh you all have some valid points! Hmmmm maybe I'll do it around the week before? I can't the week after. My bday is exactly one week from the 4th of July, and we lost a close friend this year whose bday was the 4th of July, so that is not even an option. Ill look at some more dates. Lets see if anything appeals to me. Even though Im not a bday person, it would be nice to still have a day to celebrate just me! My mom likes to still have small dinner and BBQs for my bday, plus my sisters bday is 2 days before mine (but 3 years after) and we like to celebrate together now that we're older. Like last year we went to a club and got bottle service, it was fun. Okay, no bday wedding! Thanks ladies!! Tomorrow im going to the venue and I might book, so I may have the new date tomorrow Smiley smile
