Getting Married Chicago or Suburbs?

We are getting married in Chicago at Biagio Events And Catering. It's beautiful. There are dozens of amazing venues in the city and suburbs.

I grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago but FH is from peoria, we now live in the southwest suburbs and are getting married at the Hyatt lodge in Oak Brook. Not really incorporating anything Chicago themed, but the Hyatt is the old McDonald’s headquarters and we’re having cheese burgers and milkshakes for our late night snack

We’re getting married at White Pines Golf Course in Bensenville. Both reception and ceremony will be here to make it easier for my guests. The inside is beautiful with high wooden beam ceilings that will have grapevine ball lights hanging from them. I can’t wait.

How exciting! I'm from the South Side of Chicago and getting married at Hotel Allegro near the Goodman Theatre! Getting married in the city was a must for me since it's home so I'm not sure how we'll be incorporating bits of Chicago but really excited for the trolley ride through the city for pictures after the ceremony!

We are getting married in about a month in the Catholic Church where my parents were wed and will have our reception about 15 minutes away in Harvard, IL at the Starline Factory, a stunning converted factory space. We don't have any things that are Chicago specific. However, I did have a friend that had truly a Chicago centered wedding! She did the trolley, pictures at Palmer House and Loyala, and even had her reception at the Cell! Another friend also incorporated their love of Chicago through their wedding cake and wore Sox jerseys during their entrance.

Our church is St. Giles in Oak Park. We will be holding the reception at the Intercontinental Hotel downtown. I can't wait!

I'm not from the Chicago area, but I've lived here with FH for the past 3 and a half years. FH grew up in the far western suburbs. We are getting married at a church in Darien, and the reception will take place at the Oak Brook Bath and Tennis Club! We're not incorporating anything Chicago since it really had no special meaning to me.

Hello fellow beautiful brides! FH and are were born and raised in the northern Chicago suburbs, and we just bought a house here, too. We are getting married at the Marriott Lincolnshire Resort in 3 months! We aren't incorporating anything Chicago-themed, but having the wedding close to home is really special to us (and convenient). It's hard to imagine that the time is ticking away until the big day, especially since the weather is still so cold, but we are both so excited for the big day!

So I have about 250 and we are doing the seville in stream wood because so much is included in the package. Cake, food, sweet table, late night pizza, linens, photobooth, uplighting, 5 and half hours open bar top shelf
