Getting married at home due to Covid19

Lisa, on April 14, 2020 at 10:48 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 4
I was supposed to get married the first week of May. We decided to keep the date due to the ages of our grandparents and the fact that my parents don't live in the country and have been quarantined with us. Now we are getting married at home and I need decorating ideas. Pics would be great if you have. There will be able 15 people in total (me, my groom, my parents, our bffs who live downstairs with another couple and his parents). Please help!

How fun! So many options. Do you have a cute porch or fire escape for natural lighting outdoors? Or perhaps you have decorations from your original wedding plan that can be used in your apartment. Honestly, if it was me, I’d want to have a lot of plants and greenery around. But the possibilities are endless really.

Could you gather a lot of older family photos?

DH and I asked for pictures of those who had passed on, and put their pictures on a special shelf, so that our loved ones could bless us.

Basically, use the older family photos as a way to decorate the "altar" area.
