Getting Ghosted

Lindsey, on April 11, 2022 at 3:07 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 3
I keep having conversations with makeup/hair vendors on her but as soon as I tell them that it will be just me and moh (I’m willing to pay a minimum in January) I don’t hear back from the vendor. I don’t know what to do. Any advice?

Ask what their minimum services are. Some require a minimum of 3-5 people receiving services, so that may mean asking someone else to join you for hair/makeup. However if they stop communicating altogether with no explanation, move on asap. Browse Instagram in your area to see what vendors are available to interview.

Agreed! If a vendor ghost you, don't fret! (Unless you've already booked them). Find a new one. You want to have people on your vendor team who are excited to be a part of your wedding & are helpful! Definitely scroll through Instagram to see who else is available in your area. If you are struggling to meet a minimum maybe add some important people in your life to have their makeup done as well!

If it's just two of you, consider actually going to the makeup artist rather than having them come to you. Many hair salons, etc. have makeup artists that work there and if you are coming to them, there should be less concern about a minimum.
