Getting excited for the honeymoon in a bad way

Im finally starting to look at honeymoon ideas for our Mexico HM but I am getting wayy ahead of myself! Im seeing options for all the bells & whistles & im like YES PLZ 😫. I need to calm down!! My plan was hopefully to pay less than 3k total. Im looking at different deals & vacation packages from different websites. I like the idea of a suite but then I saw the resort offers “swim out rooms”. Im trying to tell my self NO stop it.

We were also on a tight budget since we went over our budget for our wedding. We decided that as long as we go somewhere, we’ll be happy. We booked a mini moon in Cabo, flights and hotel for under $2k. We figured we would spend $1k on food and activities. We normally go all out when we go on vaca, but this time we might have to cut back a little which is fine. We’re just happy to get away for a little bit.

Thats kind of what im expecting too. 2k for hotel & airfare and another 1k for misc things and activities.

My FH and I are going to Cancun Mx for our honeymoon it was not too expensive all inclusive, platinum suite with the swim up pool, it’s absolutely beautiful & it’s your HM go all out if you wish I hear Mexico is a very nice, beautiful and relaxing environment for honeymooners ❤️

Get a swim up if you can or a walkout, being on ground level is so convienent!

We are going sooooooo far over budget for our honeymoon but we no longer even care lol. it's our HONEYMOON...once in a lifetime magical trip. we have the rest of our lives to pay it off. no regrets.

Right!! Like im still researching and comparing costs and trying to justify prices. Theres a hotel that I loveee but its 3200 (but all the bells and whistles, private balcony w plunge pool). Then another choice that’s really nice is 2500. I think I can live with spending 2500 and whatever cash gifts we get from the wedding we can use as spending cash. I really did want to only spend under 3k but on the other end of it I really want a Luxury vacation for once like u said honeymoon only comes once. We plan to get pregnant after we get married so its like what other chance will we get to do this and splurge a little.

My requirements: a big suite with a jacuzzi shouldnt be hard right lol im being so picky
