I booked my HMUA three months ago and I'm super excited to work with her, but our wedding is on the other side of our state, roughly 3.5 hours away from me. I work M-F until 5(ish), so getting there on a Friday for my trial run is impossible. I've asked about 2 different Saturdays now, and I'm told she's already booked. First I asked about September, the response was "September and October are both fully booked", which is fine, I get it and that's awesome that she's in demand. So I asked about a Saturday in November, and was offered Sunday instead.
I've already told them in the beginning that my fiance is a semi driver so, on Sundays, I'm on the road taking him to where he had to park, which 90% of the time is another 2 hours from where the wedding is happening.
I'm not upset that the particular Saturdays I've asked about were already taken, but tell me when she's available instead of making me shoot in the dark over it 
the other issue is there are 3 people over my "account", so not sure which one is answering at any given moment and if they've shared the information among themselves...so this whole thing could just be lack of communication between them.
I'm starting to freak out that I'm going to have to skip the trial run and just hope and pray I look halfway decent on my wedding day
