Getting bridesmaid dresses from different places?

Has anyone had their bridesmaids get their dresses from different places?

Two of my BMs are getting their dresses from JJhouse. I told my MOH that that’s where I would like her to look too and told her that color and material of the dress.
She calls me the other day and asks if it’s okay if she makes appointment at local shops to try on dresses and that she doesn’t want to buy online. I guess I order a swatch from JJs and give it to her when I see her next buuut I’m just nervous
Any one else run into this issue?

I let my bridesmaids choose their dresses and they all got it from different vendors. So if you let them choose then that makes sense it wouldn't all be the same vendor.

I have given them different sites and dress ideas because i told them they can choose. I don’t expect them to match exactly

I am letting my bridesmaids choose their dresses but from the same website because I want to make sure the exact color match. Do you want the rest of different fabrics and shades of a color when you order from different vendors.
Ordering a swatch would be best if she is to go with a different vendor.

The only reason I would advise against this is if you care about the colors. Different fabrics/designers, etc. have different shades and they may show up differently when photographed.

I let my BM’s choose their own dresses, but they all bought from the same place. I wanted them in the same color, and if they buy from different places, that’s impossible.

I'd personally be worried about them getting dresses from different places. The only reason I say this is because different locations can have the same name for a color but the color could be completely different. I let my bridesmaids pick out their own style dress. All I told them was for it to be a long dress, what collection it should come from and the color. That way the get to pick a style they like and are comfortable in, but can will have the same color dress across the board.
