Get a second dress!!

Yes! I told myself I paid too much for a dress that will only be worn once so I was going to wear it all night. In my case that would also mean wearing 5 inch heels ALL NIGHT so reception dress shopping I went!

I say get one! Especially if you think you will do a lot of dancing lol I ended up getting soo hot and started sweating that I changed an hour before the wedding ended! Plus I think its better to have one as a just in case you need to change rather then not having one and wishing you had an extra dress to change into. Plus if you don't use it just return it or exchange it for something else. I was honestly not going to have a second dress until my husband (omg still getting use to that lmao) told me I should have one just in case lol

I’d say yes!!! I’m getting married November 2020 and it’ll most likely be cold in Chicago so I’ll be wearing a long sleeve wedding dress. I know it’ll get extremely hot once we get to the reception and start moving around and dancing so I decided to get a second dress, the fun part is that you can coordinate with the bridesmaids 😂😁 at least that’s what I’m doing

My wedding is not for another month and few days but I fell in love with a dress at DB and it wasn't expensive at all so I said to myself "How would I logically explain to FH why I need another dress to wear at the wedding?" Lmao I got a similar dress as my bridesmaids, they all had different dresses just but they were all lace and burgundy and off of amazon lol so I got a white lace second dress but also made sure it wasn't the same as any of their dresses

I really wanted to find another white dress, I tried on so many in different stores but none were flattering what so ever, I looked like a potato in them. I got an outfit instead, a thin pink long flowy sleeved shirt and white pants but then I didn’t like it after , so I went looking again, still couldn’t find a white dress or even close to white that looked good, I tried on a black dress with blue flowers and my FH really liked it so I was like whatever with the white. Bought it. Now I’m like. Ehhh I will stand out in a bad way. Wedding is like 10 days out and I’m still nervous about what to wear at the reception. I’m a very curvy girl, and I definitely have a belly on me so my ball gown wedding dress is perfect. But I can’t wear it all day it’s heavy. And I only like floor length/sleeved dresses. I don’t even know what to do, any ideas?
