Geometric Centerpiece Size for 60" Round Table

Jamila, on May 25, 2021 at 4:57 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 2

I want to use these geometric shaped centerpieces for my reception tables. However, I don't know what size to make. I'm between 7.5" and 9.5". I'm planning on sitting 8 people to a table with plates and napkins on table. I'd like to use the 7.5" size so it would be less floral I needed, but I don't want the tables to look empty or crowded. I'm planning on using a few votive candles as well around it. What size do you suggest for a centerpiece on a 60" round table?

Honestly, if it were me, I'd create a mock up of each size, put a 60" tape circle on the floor, and look at them both to figure out which I prefer. I need visuals to help me conceptualize the design. Though, if you don't want to go that route, I personally prefer larger pieces versus smaller ones, so I'd probably go with the 9.5".

Hi Jamila! I think Nicole's mock up idea would be really helpful in visualizing everything!!

From searching online, it sounds like centerpieces with containers varying from 4"-6" in diameter are recommended for 60" round tables. So I'd use those measurements as guidance and fill in with flowers and votive candles if necessary!
