Garter/Bouquet toss at same time?

Most weddings I photograph couples are skipping it. Thankfully.

Do it back to back and make it snappy. FH will toss garter which will be on my knee (no groping). Right after he tosses I'll stand up from my chair and toss my bouquet. BOOM! Done 3 minutes tops.

Or skip it entirely and keep dancing!

This sounds like it would be a hot mess unless your venue has a huge amount of space... I'd keep the bouquet toss and skip the garter toss. That's what we are thinking of doing

Skipping but if it's for you, I agree w PPs all at once, make it quick and not a huge ordeal.

We ultimately decided to skip when my florist refused to make a reasonably priced toss bouquet (He wanted it to be the same size as bridesmaid bouquets!) and FH couldn't pick a song for it that he could use in front of our parents/grandparents... At that I asked if it was important to either of us? We each each agreeable to it because we thought the other wanted it...after that convo, we nixed it quickly!

After talking it out, we decided to cut it. Its really not super important to us. Like many of you said I'm sure guests will not miss it!
