Garter “game”

So I’ve heard of the groom being blindfolded and a few women and maybe a couple men are lined up with the bride and the groom has to pick which one is his bride based off of the leg. Has anyone done this and was it fun or awkward? And if so, how many people did you use to do it?

I thing any kind of games like that are best saved for showers. But, i was at a shower where they did this and even though neither me or FH participated, it was super awkward

I have never heard about it and it sounds super awkward tbh.

We are doing a "scavenger hunt" for the bouquet and garter. To ensure we get people involved, we are attaching $50 to each. I should probably note that our wedding will be a bit more on the smaller, casual side... and is already unique seeing as it's being held in the haunted house where my FH and I met.

I've never heard of this game. If I was one of those ladies I would feel so weird. But if we were to do this I would put all the groomsmen up there. Just for the fun of it. All of the groomsmen (3) his bestfriend, my brother and his brother- so no weirdness there. I know they would laugh so much because of it. The only way that I've seen this game done at weddings is that the groom goes under the brides dress and gets the garter with his teeth and throws it to the guys.

But we have decided not to do the garter and bouquet toss. I defiantly don't want to do the garter toss because I don't want him going under my dress in front of our friends and family.
