future Brides!! ⚠️ tips on Rsvps ⚠️

Erin, on July 2, 2020 at 7:22 AM Posted in Planning 1 12
I have had quite a few people send back their RSVPs with no name on them! Don’t let this happen to you. Come up with a system so you’ll know exactly who it is even if they do forget their name. Putting their names on top of the return envelope, numbering them, etc.
It will save you so much headache! lol

I printed “Names of those attending”

    So far so good.

I don’t know what it is but I gave a total of 5 cards now that did not include their names even with a spot to write out their names, lol. We have decided to put these people at the “mystery” table if we can’t figure out who they are 🤣

I agree 100%! We were worried about running into this issue (where we get RSVP cards back with no names) so along with a line on the card for names of those attending, we also numbered the back of the cards just in case. A lot of people did not put their name/return address on the envelope, though everyone did put their names on the card. We postponed our wedding, so we get to send out invites all over again, and I will definitely be numbering the cards again!

Hopefully as more RSVP’s come in you can figure out who it may be by a process of elimination and make a few phone calls to clarify. Smiley smile

Yeah, I took the numbering tip and have had 2 come back with no names. They filled out the # attending, but not the "names" area.... Glad I used that trick!

I made our invites and RSVP cards and typed the names of the guests on them. Easy and problem solved. 🤗

Now I wish we would have numbered ours lol. Luckily we have a small guest list so it should be pretty easy to figure out and the RSVP’s we have received have names.

I numbered the back of my RSVPs cards in invisible ink! I didn’t have to use the numbers to identify anyone in the end, but it still made me feel better!

The numbering tip on the back of the RSVP card always, always work, especially if the invite list is larger than 10.

That is so smart! I did see the Pinterest tip of writing the numbers on each card, but using invisible ink is a pro tip!!! Gotta keep that in mind when it comes time to send out our invites.
